Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
Welcome to my first day with a live site! I wasn’t ready to hit launch, but I did it anyway. I decided to move forward because we live in a world that needs encouragement right now.
Our world has drastically changed and we need to remind one another of God’s goodness. We need to fix our eyes on our Lord and not on the broken world around us.
To the left is the Fix Your Eyes on Jesus scripture series. Participation is simple. Just copy the verse down each day. Maybe set aside a journal for each day’s verse. I like to write the verse at the top and then spend some time journaling below.
Do what works best for you. This is your time to be spent in peace with Jesus, the living word. Work at your own pace by yourself of with a group of women from your parish. This is a great and easy way to open a dialogue and create community with other Catholic women, something we desperately need during this time of isolation.
If you have never written scripture as an act of worship and prayer before, you are in for an amazing experience. It’s one of my absolute favorite ways to prayerfully engage with the holy scripture.
