Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
Day 9
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
You are present in Your word, Jesus. As I turn toward these verses, prepare my heart, spirit, body, and mind. Let your presence flow from these words, through my pen, and into my heart. I love you, Jesus.
In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-10
God, You loved us and chose to give us Jesus before we ever drew breath. You didn’t expect us to be perfect first. We didn’t have to find our way to You. Instead, You fought Your way through the sin and death to find us, Your lost sheep. Reveal Your love to us anew today. Help us to reveal our love for You.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
