Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Day 8

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

You are present in Your word, Jesus. As I turn toward these verses, prepare my heart, spirit, body, and mind. Let your presence flow from these words, through my pen, and into my heart. I love you, Jesus.

Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God.”

Mark 10:27

Jesus, right now everything seems scary, uncertain, and impossible. I don’t know when things will change or when my life will feel normal again. Obstacles are piling up around me and I’m scared. I’m standing in a pit that seems impossible to escape. You are the redeemer of the broken and the finder of the lost. When it was impossible for us, You brought us back. You are the God who accomplishes the impossible. Help us to trust in You always and follow You in the uncertainty, certain only in Your goodness.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
