Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Day 4

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

You are present in Your word, Jesus. As I turn toward these verses, prepare my heart, spirit, body, and mind. Let your presence flow from these words, through my pen, and into my heart. I love you, Jesus.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through him and for him.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

Colossians 1:15-17

Jesus, You are before all things. You are above all else. We were made through Your power and for Your glory and delight. We have no other purpose than to love, worship, honor, glorify, and serve You. Father, we have no other reason to even breathe than to love Your Son. Without You, I would fall apart. Jesus, You hold me together. Focus my eyes on You and on the beautiful relationship I have only in You.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
