Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Day 22

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

But when he saw how [strong] the wind was he became frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Matthew 14:30-31

Jesus, in the midst of life’s storms, I long to see You and to keep my eyes on You. But I get distracted by the chaos around me and I falter. When I begin to sink and I cry to You to save me, You always stretch out Your hand and catch me. Thank You for catching me. Forgive me for my doubt. Deepen my faith so that I can walk through any storm, always with my eyes fixed on You.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
