Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Day 19

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

You are present in Your word, Jesus. As I turn toward these verses, prepare my heart, spirit, body, and mind. Let your presence flow from these words, through my pen, and into my heart. I love you, Jesus.

As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

John 15:9-11

Jesus, help me to remain in Your love today. I want to experience Your joy today and Your joy only. I want a life that is abundantly full with Your joy and true life. Sometimes, I feel like I need You minute by minute just to make it through the day. Keep me close to You today. And keep those I love. Teach us to live in Your joy and peace again.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

Journaling Prompts

You say that if we remain in your love, we will have a life filled with Your joy. Right now, my life feels filled with…

If I look hard at my own little world, I can see things that prevent me from remaining in You and experiencing Your joy. Help me to start letting go of…

Today, I can see Your joy in… I want to remain in You and experience Your joy in… (areas of your life)
