Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
Day 12
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
You are present in Your word, Jesus. As I turn toward these verses, prepare my heart, spirit, body, and mind. Let your presence flow from these words, through my pen, and into my heart. I love you, Jesus.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
John 14:6-7
Jesus, sometimes the world doesn’t want to hear these words. Our world wants to applaud the validity of every path and option. We can find God in so many places, why should there only be one true path? But we tried to find our own way to You, and we only became lost or enslaved. There was a chasm separating us from You. So You came back down to us and made a direct path. Jesus, You stretched out upon the cross and built a bridge by which we could come to the Father. Thank You Lord Jesus!
